Kante was introduced at half-time and scored from range when his shot took a major deflection before Rudiger finished well in the box to make it three late on.

Chelsea could have made it four or five with a multitude of chances at the end of the second half
The first half failed to delivery many opportunities for the star strikers on show
Chelsea remain unbeaten in the league and now sit top of the table without a conceding a goal from open play
Tuchel spoke about the win after the game but thinks there’s work still to do: “We still have things to improve, the first half is proof of that.

“We struggle a little bit in the moment, not everything is going easy.

“It’s good to have these hard situations now and to overcome them and to fight through them.

“It’s good because we are able to produce wins and deserved wins.
