The Convener and initiator of the outreach, Princess Ajike Omolade reiterated her commitment in putting smiles and making a positive impact in the lives of Widows and less privileged.
At the 6th Edition of the Outreach, the PALP Foundation supported to 100 widows, at the remarkable event held on November 28, 2024, at Lagos Television in Agindigbi, Ikeja.
The event attracted a diverse group of attendees, including traditional leaders, dignitaries, Nollywood actors, and prominent journalists.
The founder of PALP and Yeye Are Asoludero of the Onitigbo of Itigbo Kingdom, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve those in need. In an interview with the media, she emphasized her dedication to creating positive change and her unwavering support for the less privileged in society.
Speaking with journalists, the Olu of Agbegise kingdom in Ifo local government area of Ogun State, Oba Dr. Joseph Adesina Ikudayisi encouraged people in the diaspora to contribute to such initiatives through sponsorship, acknowledging the positive impact PALP has made despite the current economic challenges.
He commended Princess Ajike Omolade for her dedication and selflessness in providing for those in need using her personal funds to see to the happiness of others.
The Ontigbo of Tigbo Land, Oba Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, expressed his admiration for the foundation’s mission, stating that PALP has created an essential platform to support the less privileged members of society. Both traditional leaders emphasized the importance of continued efforts to uplift those facing adversity and the critical role that initiatives like PALP play in fostering a more compassionate and supportive community.
He commended the Princess Ajike Less Privilege Foundation (PALP) for providing a platform that encourages individuals to utilize their resources to uplift others in need. He emphasized the importance of community support and urged well-off individuals to unite in backing PALP’s initiatives, particularly its food bank program, to serve as a beacon of hope for those facing hardships.
Renowned Fuji artist and record producer, Abass Akande Obesere, graced the event with a captivating performance, enchanting the audience with his distinct music style and creative use of slangs.
Obesere’s energetic and unique fusion of Fuji pop and hip hop created an electrifying atmosphere, leaving fans in a state of euphoria.
As the event highlighted the importance of community support and uplifting those in need, Obesere’s performance further accentuated the spirit of unity and celebration, making the 6th edition of the Princess Ajike Less Privilege Foundation a truly memorable occasion.
Highlight of the event was the distribution of essential food items to the less privileged community members, who responded with heartfelt gratitude and blessings for the Princess Ajike Less Privilege (PALP) Foundation.
