New AS Roma signing, Tammy Abraham, has made a promise after joining the club from Chelsea.
The England international said he wants to help Roma to fight for titles, trophies and get the club to the level where they should be.
Abraham was officially unveiled as a Roma player on Tuesday after completing a €40 million transfer to Jose Mourinho’s side.
The 23-year-old signed a five-year contract with Roma that runs until 30 June 2026.
He will wear the number 9 shirt at Roma.
“You can sense when a club really wants you and Roma made their interest clear immediately,” Abraham said at his unveiling on Tuesday.
“Roma is a club that deserves to be fighting for titles and trophies. I have had the experience of winning major trophies and I want to be in those competitions again, so I want to help this team to achieve that and get to the level where Roma should be.
“It is a massive honour to be the number 9 at this club and I just can’t wait to get started and to help the team.”
