Motivation is one of the strategic ways to squeeze out top performances from footballers, and one way to do that is to promise financial rewards. Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa, keeps extending his leadership traits from the Super Eagles to other football levels.

He recently blessed the Olympics Eagles for beating Tanzania in Ibadan, he gave a retired Super Eagles cash some time ago, and the Flamingos, who won a record-breaking bronze medal in India, are the most recent to enjoy him.

When the girls were in India, he reached out to them and promised to reward them if they did well. When the girls landed at the airport, they got their reward, and it was a check of N3,000,000.

The gesture impressed many people, and they praised “The Governor” for his consistent outstretched arm and reward of footballers and individuals. Thank God for the safe journey of the girls and congratulations to them.
