Less than three days after Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu appointed the Vice Chairman of Ayobo Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Oladipupo Oluwaloni, as the Acting Chairman, to end the leadership vacuum that had crippled administration of the council activities due to the health of the Chairman, Bola Shobowale, she has finally passed on.

 

She had been battling a protracted ailments that took her away from office for about a year, leaving a leadership vacuum in the LCDA.

 

It works be recall that there been series of allegations of fraud in the LCDA, with the withdrawal of huge sums from the LCDA’s account without approval by the Chairman.

 

There have been calls for removal by some members of the executive and legislative arm of the LCDA, following her unavailability to perform her duties, but the call has been quashed, not until days ago when Governor Sanwo-Olu put her Vice, Oluwaloni as Acting Chairman, before her demise today.
