Arsenal football club of England loanee, Folarin Balogun was in action tonight for French Ligue 1 club-side Reims in their 18th league game of the season away from home against AC Ajaccio at the Stade Francois Coty.
The 21 year old forward maestro was handed a role to play in his team’s starting XI line-up having been a prominent figure in the squad since kick starting his loan spell, and he was able to deliver yet at the peak using his vast experience at the heart of the attacking line.
Folarin Balogun in the game was a big threat for the visitor at the heart of the attacking line with his impactful minutes spent on the pitch of play where he played his part and also contributed his quota which were instrumental in the crucial away win.
The visitor in the 3rd minute of the game got the score sheet opened with a goal from Marshall Munetsi to make it one nil which was the only goal that separated the two sides going into the half time break.
The tempo of the game got more tensed up between the two sides in the second half as they both stepped up their game with some more physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to found the back of the net with all attempts from both sides to add more to the tally proving abortive as it ended one nil at full time.
Folarin Balogun with his great influx of influence in the game will be hoping to keep the momentum going for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
