Belgium-born striker Cyriel Dessers has finally joined other invited players in Super Eagles camp in Dallas, United States of America, ahead of Nigeria’s friendly match against Mexico national team on Saturday.

The former Heracles Almelo football club star has been superb for Feyenoord football club of Netherlands this season, and his excellent performance did not go unnoticed.

The 27 years old was on action for Feyenoord football club in the final of this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League against AS Roma football club of Italy which took place on Wednesday, and he ended as the competition’s highest goal scorer.

Cyriel Dessers was born in Belgium by a Belgian father and Nigerian mother, and he decided to represent his motherland ahead of the Red Devils of Belgium.

Dessers made his debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in an international friendly match against Tunisia in Austria in 2020 under former Coach Gernot Rohr and he has not been able to play for the national team again since then.
