West Ham have it all to do in Germany next week after losing 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final at the London Stadium.

The visitors stunned the Hammers after just one minute as they went ahead through Ansgar Knauff‘s powerful header.

However David Moyes’ side drew level in the 21st minute when Michail Antonio fired into an empty net following Kurt Zouma‘s terrific flick-on.

Yet with the hosts in the ascendency, Frankfurt regained the lead as Daichi Kamada tucked the ball home after Djibril Sow‘s effort was saved by Alphonse Areola nine minutes into the second half.

The Hammers searched for an equaliser late-on and went ever-so-close when Jarrod Bowenstruck the bar with a delightful acrobatic effort in stoppage-time.
