Super Eagle and Al Hilal striker Jude Odion Ighalo was on target once more in the Saudi Professional League.

The Nigerian striker who has been in top form this season bagged a goal as his side played out a 2-2 victory with table-toppers Al Nassr away from home.

Ighalo was the first man to get on the score sheet on the night. He found the back of the net 10 minutes into the game.

The home team would cancel out Ighalo’s goal in the 56th minute, but Al Hilal restored their lead via the penalty spot eleven minutes later.

A late goal in the 88th minute from Al Nassr would deny Ighalo and hi teammates the win.

The Boxing Day goal was Ighalo’s fifth of the season. The result also sent his team Al Hilal to second position on the league table with 22 points from 10 games.

Al Hilal are the defending champions of the Saudi Professional League. They will be looking forward to winning their 19th league title.
