Nigerian star Oladapo Afolayan was exceptional for Bolton Wanderers football club on Tuesday night, as he came from the bench to score a goal in his their remarkable 5-1 comeback victory over Salford FC in the English EFL Cup.

The former West Ham United football club star was dropped to the bench by his coach, and he was able make an instant impact after being introduced to the pitch in the second half of the game.

The 24 years old replaced Iceland national team star Jon Dadi Bodvarsson in the 83rd minute and he was able to make an instant impact on the pitch.

The visitors took the lead through Thomas-Asante Brandon in the 23rd minute and Elias Kachunga equalized in the 35th minute before Jon Dadi Bodvarsson put the home team ahead in the 42nd minute to end the first half 2-1.

Kieran Sadlier made it 3-1 in the 61st minute and Conor Bradley made it 4-1 in the 77th minute before substitute Nigerian star Oladapo Afolayan scored the last goal of the game in the 86th minute to end the match 5-1.

Oladapo Afolayan was fantastic for Bolton Wanderers football club after being introduced to the pitch, and he was able to mark his excellent performance with a goal.

The victory over Salford FC has now taken Bolton Wanderers football club to the next round of the English EFL Cup.
