The future of Nigeria international striker Paul Onuachu at relegated English Premier League side Southampton has been decided with a summer exit top of his priority.

Onuachu joined Southampton six months ago from Belgium side Genk but he failed to replicate the form that made the team to splash big to bring him to the club. He is now set to leave the club as part of their rebuild for their campaign in the English Championship.

We gathered that a move back to Genk which has been in the news lately isn’t going to happen as he is exploring other options which includes a big money offer from Saudi Arabia top division outfit Al Tawoon.

German side Union Berlin wants the 27 year old Nigerian but they are only open to having him on loan with the option of signing him permanently after the expiration of his loan deal. He also has the same proposal from Turkish top division side Galatasaray.

Back in Nigeria for a break, he is expected to make a decision on his next destination before the transfer window officially opens but one thing that is certain is that he will leave Saint Mary’s this summer.
