With less than 24 hours left before Nigerian eligible voters head to the polls to elect the next president that will pilot the affairs of the country after the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has spoken about the chances of Asiwaju Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress.
t would be recalled that there are four major candidates that are running for the position of the president in February 25th presidential poll. The front-runners include Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Mr Peter Obi, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It would be also be recalled that Samuel Ortom is a member of G-5 governors that have been protesting for the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu to get removed.
Addressing news reporters, Samuel Ortom disclosed that the G-5 governors are no longer on the same page. He said Wike has opted to support Asiwaju Tinubu.
According to him, Only Oyo State among the G-5 governors that Asiwaju Tinubu has a chance.
“I can bet you; the only state Bola Tinubu will win among the states of G5 governors is Oyo State.” Ortom said.
