The Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio led Senate has recall suspended Senator Abdul Ningi back to the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.
Ningi, representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District was suspended by his colleagues from the Senate following the allegation he leveled against his colleagues on Padding the 2024 Budget.
He had alleged that the 2024 budget was padded by N3 trillion, resulting to his suspension for Three months by his colleagues.
Ningi was however recalled following a motion sponsored by Senator Abba Moro, the Minority Leader; Senator Olalere Oyewumi representing Osun South Senatorial District; and Senator Osita Ngwu, representing Enugu West Senatorial District.
