Leicester City have not played in a dead rubber for some time, but even if that is a fair description of Wednesday night’s game against Norwich City, Brendan Rodgers will be hoping his side don’t treat it as such.

City’s shot at Europe is over and their opponents are already relegated, so there is not necessarily anything significant riding on the game at the King Power Stadium. But victory for Rodgers’ men would take them into the top half of the table and improve the mood, which has suffered in light of a seven-game winless streak and an exit from the Europa Conference League.

The defeat to Everton on Sunday was just City’s second loss in 17 King Power matches. The boos will be extremely loud if that becomes three in 18 against the Canaries. You can follow our blog below for updates throughout the evening.
