In Tunisia’s quest for the continental crown, Sabrine Ellouzi became the first player in the 2022 WAFCON competition to score two goals in a single game, hitting it twice against Togo in Tunisia’s 4-1 win over the West African side
Sabrine in the game, completed her brace after her 60th-minute header to help widen the scoreline to three goals against Togo who had one goal to hold on to, before goalkeeper Ame Amouklou’s own goal to make it four for Tunisia.
Becoming the first player to score a brace in a single game in the 2022 WAFCON, Sabrine Ellouzi has already made her point clear in her quest for the WAFCON title, and the golden boot as well.
Having scored two goals more than any other player so far in the competition, Sabrine Ellouzi’s goals also ensured that the Eagles of Carthage are three points top of Group B above Cameroon and Zambia.
