The Gospel Musician Association of Nigeria, GOMAN, has once again been thrown Into mourning less than Two months after the demise of Popar Singer, Egbin Orun, it has lost another of its finest musician, in person of Yemi Adeola.

 

 

The death of Adeola came as rude shock to many of her fans and colleagues.

 

Ace broadcaster, Bisi Ajiboye broke the news of her demise on his Facebook Page.

 

Ajiboye, popularly known as Sogigun didn’t disclose the cause of her death, but paid tribute to the late Ondo State Singer.

 

In the post, Ajiboye described the late Adeola as a “kind hearted and beautiful soul”, adding that he spoke with her a week ago.

 

He wrote, “Yemi Adeola was Kind hearted, beautiful in and out. When we spoke last week you never say goodbye! (sic)

 

“In my experience over the years, I have never seen something shocking and sad like this in my life.”

 

The Isarun, Ifedore local government area of Ondo State born Singer was an evangelist and minister known for her inspiring and uplifting songs and performances.

 

Some of her works include, ‘Annual Praise Concert’, ‘My Praise to the Great Healer’ among others.

 

She would be greatly missed by colleagues, families and friends.
